2426 - Job Japan Senior Fintech Payment Developer

Growing Global FinTech Payment firm is seeking a Senior Developer within Financial Technology. You would be familiar with key languages who thinks outside the box, is needed for its Japan & Asia team.

* This will appeal to a Developer who wants to combine any career experience with Japanese financial/credit card systems (CAFIS / CDS / JCN / J-Trans / CtV)

* English is the main language needed, any level of Japanese would be a great compliment. MUST have a valid working visa for Japan. This is essential for consideration. This is for a Tokyo based role 3+ days a week in the office, not remote.

* You will have stories of applications that suffered performance problems, and what you did to improve it. You can share learned best practices as a result. Perhaps you can describe a time you ran into scalability issues and what you did to solve them. How that changed your opinion as an engineer moving forward.

*Cross-functional highly collaborative Scrum teams are of definite interest. Top candidates will understand what we mean by a "top-down" mentality. Can you think of a time you changed your plan because you began to think like a customer / user rather than as a developer?
