Japan based Private Equity Fund Firm with is looking for a Japan Branch Head/Office Manager for the US/Canada market. They need a professional who can manage Japanese investment & administration in New York. Candidates are expected to have direct investment & administration experience within private equity, activist or value investing. Candidates who are also experienced with operations, compliance or trade related issues with FSA interface are needed soon afterwards. The role will directly report to the Japanese owner. Backgrounds in asset management, investment banking or securities are welcome. Direct Japanese language skills (native or near native) and English (Business fluent) are a must. This is an important role and will coordinate with Regional and local staff.
