Multi-billion AUM global multi-strat hedge fund is looking for a distressed debt lawyer with direct distressed experience. This legal specialist would be coodinating with outside counsel & compliance staff in the region to work directly with bankruptcy specialist. Regional challenges to chapters 7 & 11 requires somebody who can wear many hats. Ideal candidates speak English and are already working for a HF / PE fund. Great opportunity for overseas based lawyers who are looking to return to Japan as their next step. Japanese real estate & credit markets will be prime areas of focus on a daily basis with real estate being a dominant theme for the next Abenomics cycle of 3+ years.
