US Global Multi-Billion AUM Hedge Fund With expanding Asia Office Seeks experienced Japan or Pan-Asia analyst to cover investments into j-equities Long/short, special situations, M&Aarbitrage, events, turnarounds & other Strategies (distressed, private placements etc.). To be based in Hong Kong. This position would potentially manage significant capital as the fund has $1bn+ in Asia & mandates for greater exposure. Native Japanese speakers w/ English fluency best. Background in top-tier investment banking, research Analysis, private equity or active asset management ideal. Under grad from Top school & MBA help. CFA, CMA or CPA useful. 2-3years experience ok and Needs a wide view mindset to fully understand investment valuation styles.
