以下にあげられるものはよく面接のときに聞かれる合否の鍵を握る質問事項です。これを踏まえた上で、精神的に準備するだけでなく、実際の答えも準備しておくことが大切です。面接の評価段階は１から５で示されます。
５の評価をもらって初めて第二次面接へ進むことができます。とはいっても、完璧に全てを理解している人はいません。従って、今までの経験、そしてそれについて自分自身の考えを明確にしておくことが重要です。面接時は英語で質問される場合もあります。
以下は頻繁に聞かれる質問事項です。
去年の損益を教えてください。それは自分のゴールまたは予算を上回っていましたか下回っていましたかもしくは同額でしたか？
What is your P/L from last year?Was that below, above or just hitting your goal or budget?
現時点では今年度予算（の目標）を達成できそうですか。
Are you on track to exceed your goals this year?

How does your P/L from last year compare to the last 3 years?
フロー取引と並んでどのくらいのプロップリスクをとりましたか？（例えばプロップ５０％とフロー５０％、など説明してください）
How much prop risk do you take alongside your flow trades (Is it 50% prop vs. 50% flow, or how do you describe it)?
リスクのリミットはどれだけですか？（VaP/日、ドローダウンリミット、デイリー/マンスリーロスリミットなど）
What are your risk limits (VaR / day, or others like drawdown limits, daily/monthly loss limits, etc)?
