Growing statistical arbitrage prop trading group in Tokyo is now looking for a head to lead and expand the business. Must be very quantitative with previous experience designing and trading stat-arb models in Japan / Asia or globally. Experience in designing market micro-structure models that act as liquidity providers or market making types would be expected as well as the ability to handle huge volumes and single-digit percentages of all daily trades on the exchange. This role best suits those with advanced degrees in quantitative subjects and proven prop experience running stat-arb trading.
